Hassle Free Returns
Standard Return Policy
If an item or items is not what you expected or does not fit well in your home or office, you can simply return it us. You may return your purchase for any reason within 30 days of receipt for an exchange or a refund of the purchase price excluding our shipping and handling costs. Some of our products are offered with free shipping, so please be aware that if you return one of these products our actual outbound shipping costs will be deducted from your return refund. In addition some of our items carry a restocking fee which will be deducted from your refund should you wish to make a return. Please keep in mind that once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. If you refuse an order, it will then fall under our standard return policy, where roundtrip shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.
You may return your purchase within 30 days of receipt. Please note: certain items are not returnable.
Using our Standard Return Policy:
Please email email@example.com and include your original order number, what product(s) you are returning, and your name. Or call us at (877) 302-4233. We will give you a Return Authorization number and a return address. (We will set up that pick-up with the delivery company.)
We ask you that you please wrap all packages carefully. All returned products must be in original condition and packaging; otherwise, additional charges may be applied.
We will arrange for your pieces to be picked up. (Usually with the same company that helped you on your initial delivery.)
Please Note: unless the return or exchange is due to an error on our part, we cannot refund shipping and handling charges. We will issue a credit to the credit card used for the original purchase.
If your item is problematic due to a manufacturer's defect, we can either replace the defective part, or if necessary, the entire unit. We stand behind our products and maintain great relationships with the manufacturers who produce them. If you are having an issue, please contact us and we will make every effort to resolve it.
How will my order be delivered?
We will ship all items inside your home and have them fully set up for you. (White Glove) We will ship your order using the fastest, safest, and most reliable method possible. We have established strong relationships with some of the best delivery companies nationwide. Every product on our site has been carefully selected to ship by a particular shipping method in order to provide you with an optimal delivery experience. (Please note that there are certain exceptions with our full set up policy particularly with Cribs and Mirrors)
The delivery company will show up at your home or office in order to deliver and fully set up all of your pieces. All pieces should be inspected at the time of delivery for damages or defects.
If your furniture has any type of damage or manufacturer defect, you should refuse the delivery on that item. Please do not refuse the delivery on the whole order, since this will cause the delivery company to charge you again for the next delivery.
Once the damaged or defective item makes it back into the delivery company’s warehouse, they will inspect it and determine whether to repair or replace the item. Their decision is based on two factors: whether or not the piece can be fixed to the manufacturer’s standards and whether or not the cost of the repair exceeds the cost of the item. The delivery company employs professional repair people in order to fix the damage or defects that any of the products could have.
Please note that it is the customer's responsibility to fully inspect all items for damages (knicks, scratches, cracks) or defects at the time of delivery. Any issues should be spelled out on the delivery receipt. Feel free to contact us at the time of delivery or before with any questions that you might have.
All products offered by MK Home Design are brand-new and backed by the applicable manufacturers' warranties. The default warranty or length of time the warranty is applicable varies from company to company: products are supported in accordance with the terms and conditions of each individual manufacturer. How soon will my pieces arrive?
Please make sure to check our “Estimated Delivery Time” maps which show an estimate of how long it will take for your order to arrive. Please note that shipping times vary depending on the manufacturers’ ability to quickly dispatch your order and your geographic location. Delivery times also depend on the particular item's stock availability once your order is placed. Our staff will call you in order to review your order's information and will provide you with delivery information as well via e-mail.
Your e-mail confirmation will provide you with an estimated delivery time frame for your order. Please note that if you are unable to take a delivery once the delivery company is ready, all you would have to do is inform them of this and they will contact us to let us know of this change of dates in your order.
